Hello Campers!

I have a confession to make.  I'm a FORESTHOLIC!  I was gone all day yesteray, and even though I had a great day, I missed you all!  I missed the trees and the leaves and all of the woodland creatures.  I missed the forest sounds, the rustling of the brush, the chipring of the birds and the feel of the wind on my skin.

From the looks of things around here, it looks like you all are having a wonderful weekend---with certain NYC meet-ups and the release of a certian DVD---which I am ashamed to say that I do not yet own.  Never fear, though, Campers....I will going to the store in just a little while.  I'm still enjoying my Kahlua & coffee.

Aside from going to the store, I plan to make some fajitas for dinner later.  But I will be spending MOST of my day today WRITING!

Well! All these lovely New Moon posts has got me a little giddy (read ALOT) The UK release date is tomorrow! Cannot wait. I am having random sqee-splosions, which are not good in public.

To make matters worse! I work in a very well known book shop, lets call it.... WetPebbles..... or.... SoakingRocks.... Anywho, at five PM today when the shop closed, I had to put out an entire display of the DVDs and other yummy merch.. My squeefactor kept going up....

So it got me thinking... What were my DVD viewing plans..... I figure I will be in bed (ooer.. no, not ooer, I am a student and my bed is my living room..) I will be eating ASDA (Walmart to the US lovelys) Rocky Road Ice cream.. There may be wine involved and I will be wearing my sleepy suit.

So UK campers! Tell me! What are YOUR veiwing plans? (and did any US campers do anything awesome?)

Hello all!  So, I have posted four chapters so far of a fic, and I've had PTB betaing so far -- which has been great.  However, I would love to team up with someone permanently, for this story and a potential next one. 

This fic I'm working on currently is Bitter Edge, and if you would at all be interested in betaing for me, please PM my FF account and let me know.  The story is shaping up to be about fifteen to sixteen chapters long, and I've already written through Chapter 13. 

I have a pretty set idea/plot for my next fic, and would appreciate some feedback on that as well.  If anyone is interested, let me know, or if you just want more info, I can answer your questions.  Thanks so much!

Has anyone else had a chance to pick up a copy of Twilight: The Graphic Novel? If not, I strongly advice that you do. Young Kim did an amazing job on the artwork. It's scary how similar her drawings were to how I imagined everything in my head.

If you have read it, what do you think of it?

Ok I'll admit I'm envious of the East coast and West coast meetups. So I propose we try to arrange a Midwest meetup for Eclipse. I have no one in my RL to share my obsession with and I do not want to go see Eclipse alone, like I did with New Moon.

I'm not sure if any of us are actually near each other but if we plan early early enough, those of us that may have to travel will have plenty of time to make arrangements.

I'm in Chicago, but I have no problem with traveling a couple of hours.

So , how about it Midwest ladies?

Had a GREAT time at the NYC Remember Me meet up!  It was so much fun to meet everyone and put the faces (and real names) to the ADF names. 

And I really liked the movie; I thought Rob did a really good job.  I was pleasantly surprised.

Apparently ABC Family is having a HP marathon and snuck in a Deathly Hallows sneak peek. From what I can tell this is footage that has already been seen if you own the Half-Blood Prince Blu-Ray. BUT I haven't seen it so Im posting it.

 I was really trying to avoid this but I'm trying to find the fic where Edward is Alice's crazy ass brother and despite her warnings Bella totes falls for him. He ends up having a split personality, both of which Bella ends up loving for diff reasons. Can't remember his other name but his evil half plays in a band and likes torturing woman in a basement of a whorehouse. It's killing me. I can't remember if it was complete and I just don't remember how it ended or if it wasn't complete. Help would be grrrrreat!! For your time.

It was tons of fun! Glad I was finally able to put faces to names! I had to go back to the Island, but think everyone else is still hanging. Here's my pics of the night, (in the comments), and everyone else can post theirs when they get home. (:

This is my very first campfire!  I was watching New Moon today and I when I got to the forest/Edward leaving scene I was thinking... humm, I wonder if Edward heard Bella yelling his name.  Did he stay somewhere hidden to ensure her safety.  That would fit with his masochistic side, or did he just run for the high heavens because it was so hard for him that if he didn't get as far away as possible as fast as possible he wouldn't have been able to leave...  I have read different AU fanfictions, some where he stays hidden until Sam comes to get her, some where he runs as fast and as far as he can...

So I ask, what do you think he did? And why?  And why do you think Stephenie was never asked this question?

Just my over active mind looking for some deeper meaning! :)

I just finished watching New Moon on DVD. As I watched it, I notice there were several things that were different from the books that I actually liked. So my question to you is this:

What is the New Moon movie, that's not in the book that you like and think maybe should of been in the book??

Me: I like that Bella was writing to Alice via email (even though it didn't go through) and I also liked that Charlie was more concerned for Bella than he appeared to in the books.  It always sort of bugged me that he would hear Bella screaming in her sleep nightly and yet never woke her up or anything. (idk maybe thats just me)

oh yeah I have a second question, did anyone buy their copy at Target and get the movie cell in it? What scene did ya get??

I have Jacob chasing after Bella before she leaves for Italy.

I started a fic a couple of months ago, and totally forgot to (A) keep the title somewhere handy; and (B) set up a story alert.

It's a WIP Bella & Edward fic.  HOWEVER in the beginning, Bella and Emmett are dating, as are Edward and Rose.  Emmett and Rose are workaholics at the same (firm?  office?  I can't remember what type of business they're in) and B & E meet through their significant others.  Does anyone know which story I'm talking about?  I have more info, but I would hate to accidentally ruin the story for someone by revealing too much of what happens in later chapters.  I think it was featured on the Fictionators blog, but I'm having a hard time finding it.

I just bought a blu-ray disc of New Moon from Costco and am very disappointed.  There are no extended scenes!

This is what it says under special features:

Includes a revealing audio commentary with Director Chris Weitz and Editor Peter Lambert;  a riveting 6-part documentary that takes you behind the scenes;  exclusive band rehearsal footage with Muse;  and music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina and Mutemath.

My disk looks like the above.  So my question is, are all blu ray discs missing the extended scenes?  Where can I get a blu ray copy with all the extra bits?  By the way, I'm in Canada.

Bella had that whirlwind trip to Italy.

Edward got to fight James and then bite a chunk out of his neck.

Mine was taking a quiet ride up on the hill above where I live.

(sadly the horse isn't mine-- but even if i could afford one it wouldn't be him)
