I normally keep my favorite fic list up to date, however with all authors pulling fics and the FFn smut persecution I've managed to lose track of a completed story I really enjoyed.  Obviously I don't know the name of the story or the author but I can give a basic plot summary.  Edward must get married before his birthday or lose control of the family company as dictated by his grandfather's will.  He meets Bella through Emmett and Jasper and eventually they get married.  At the beginning of the story Bella is working at least two jobs to pay for Charlie's heath care as he is very ill back in Forks.  The story reminds me a lot of the movie The Bachelor with Chris O'Donnell and Renee Zelleweger.

Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.

Ok. If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I'm kinda obsessed with the Olympics. I spend pretty much every moment I'm not in class watching skiing or skating or people just being awesome.

Myself and some other people last night (cough pwtf cough) got kinda angry last night about a questionable call that was made, and it sorta destroyed my Olympic high, so to speak.

So my man has abandoned me in rainy old London for a week whilst he swans off to New York for business.

As I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself trying to find something to read, I had a thought.

What is your favourite twilight fanfiction of all time ever?

Let me know, I'm curious to see if there is a clear winner or if it will be mish mash of lots of different fics.

I'll go first, for me it's gotta be 'Wide Awake', I know that some people really don't like this fic, lol. I've gotta be honest a couple of Jandcos are tied neck and neck. But Wide Awake was my first, so I'll be sentimental. 

Different strokes for different folks and all that. Everyone has such varied taste and maybe some fics will come to light that other campers haven't read.

So let me know I really am curious. Can be A/H, Cannon, one shot, whatever. But you can only pick one Mwahahahah. I know tricky.

And please no trashing any fics, don't want to hurt anyones feelings. Just thought It would be a bit of fun.

For those who have no idea, my birthday was this week.  I'm not one for big birthday blowout extravaganzas and since I work, I'm celebrating tonight with Hubby and several friends at a lovely, hole in the wall Indian Restaurant.  I have been craving Indian food and curry for a while now, so this greatly pleases me.

I know a lot of people have a type of food that is their favorite, but honestly, I don't think I could ever make that distinction.  I love good Mexican food and I'm missing that something fierce (German's idea of Mexican food is like yogurt sauce and honey mustard and white rice mixed with tomato paste.  My friend and I ordered enchiladas and tacos once, and my enchiladas were like some kind of deep fried flour stuff wrapped around strips of chicken with-yogurt sauce, honey mustard and v. strange guacamole, and the white rice-tomato paste mix.  Her 'tacos' were sloppy joe mix with jalepenos. I rest my case.), but at the same time I've discovered great things like döner's, European pizza, jagerschnitzel (Pork with mushroom sauce...mmm), knudel (potato dumpling) and many different types of brats.  Not to mention there is still Indian food, South American, Sushi, Chinese, Greek, and some of the most amazing Italian I've ever had.  The ice cream is to die for as well.

I do miss southern food, but luckily there are enough army wives from the south that can make some awesome comfort food.  I do miss me some cajun-German's aren't big on anything spicier than ketchup.  And home cooking...lol.  My parents came out with my brother and sister for Christmas and the first thing on my list was to learn how to make my mom's meatloaf.  I missed that so bad.

Now that I've gone and made myself hungry about 2 hours before we eat (so getting lots of garlic naan and saffron rice...omg!), what is your favorite cuisine?  Any food you love in particular?  Is there something you can't go without?  Or, even better...weirdest thing you've ever tried?

(my answer for that last one would have to be escargot.  I wasn't too sure at first, but it wasn't bad at all!)

What word processing software do you use?  How do you back up your writing?  Do you only use one computer to write?

Do you have any tricks that help you increase your productivity or focus?

I was using Google docs, since I love being able to work from any computer.  But, I recently realized I'm a lot more productive if I'm not writing in a browser, with all of those tabs to distract me.  Now, I'm looking for a marriage of the two.

I'm trying to restrain myself from looking in your post about what happends at the end of remember me. "SHOCKING TWIST!" ... Im dying here. Im going to see it on the 12th, just 13 more days. I really want to peek inside and see but I dont want to ruin the moive for myself.

To peek or not to peek? is it worth it? will it totally ruin it? he dosent die or something crazy like that dose he?!?

Okay so, you all are the best writers/readers I know. And it takes Soooooo long for My beta's to contact me because they have so many stories. Also, hardly anyone Beta's Non Fan fic stuff. And I need help!

I'm writing a little love story; classic bad (ish) boy, Good (weird) girl with a pinch of humor, angst and drama. BUT I need Beta's! And since all of you are so funny/non-judging-silly folk, I'm thinking "Ah-Ha!"

So, if I post a chapter a week, could you guys go over it and maybe give me advise and helpful criteria? But most importantly, will I get in trouble for it?

All I can remember about it is that it starts with Bella going to a coffee shop where she is going to give her wedding dress to Jessica because Even though I think Tyler and Bella were supposed to get married he cheated with Jessica and He and Jessica were going to get married when Bella and Tyler were and Jessica wanted the dress.

Then Alice and Rose, Emmett, Jasper, and Edward were at the coffee shop because they were going to interiew Bella for the roommate position. So when Jessica was trying to make Bella feel bad Edward stepped in and said that he was going to the wedding with Bella. I remember they went ot the wedding and had fun and started dating. Then I can't remember anything exept the last chapter I read I think Edward proposed to Bella after they slept together for the first time.

I had a really, really, really bad night. 

And it come on the heels of a really, really, really good day. 

I read dryler's "Bright Like the Sun," and it made me ridiculously happy today.  I also recently discovered "An Introduciton to Swirl and Daisy." 

Now, understand me.  I don't read "fluff."  I like angst.  Jandco is my hero.  When she pairs with wtvoc?  Nirvana has been found.

But I had a really, really, really bad night. 

So, does anyone have any fluff?  I mean, really, really good fluff.  Perfectly written fluff.  Ala "Bright like the Sun" or "Swirl and Daisy?"  (and seriously, if you're not reading those two fics?  Why?  They are both fucking brilliant!!  I prefer Jella or canon couples, and while I usually love slash, not tonight.

Hello everyone! I am trying to remember the title of a story I read a while ago. Edward meets Bella through Alice. I think they are cousins. He lives in SF, was dating Jessica and she ends up preg. and also becomes a couple with lauren. They trick Edward into thinking the baby is his and in the end ruing what Bella and he had.

I am really bad a summaries so sorry if I butchered that! Thank you so much :)

I will tell you right now, I have NOT read it and I refuse to read the twist at the end.

So...I'm wondering, how of you have read the twist and knows what happens? Did you like it? Will yoiu still see it now that you know what happens?
