What would you do if you were reading an M rated fic, waiting for E/B, or whoever it is, to get it on, and then....vague descriptions and no lemon?! What would your reaction be? Would you keep on reading.

I'm asking cause I've got a friend whose writing something M rated, but she doesn't want to write a graphic lemon. She's not telling her readers, though ;)

I just wandered over to the Mentalward page to read some fics. I read one that literally made me gag.

I almost puked on my mac. I'm not messing around.

I just brushed my teeth to get rid of the taste of bile in my mouth.  I had to swallow my cornflakes back down.

It was awesome and traumatizing. And twisted as hell. I've never had a visceral reaction to a fic before.

I'm interested to see if anyone else knows which fic I'm talking about (maybe you reacted the same way?), or has ever chucked (or wanted to) because of fine literature, a movie, or maybe even some real life twistedness.

 I'm not sure what will come up in the comments, so this post may not be for the faint of heart. 

Itzmegan73 has given us a extra happy new year's day by posting an update. Chapter 17 is up and it's a doozy!

Edward/Rosalie, Emmett/Rosalie, Bella/Jasper (there is only one Bella/Jasper I'm reading, and while I'm not so interested in the two of them together, I really like how the story is written). 

Will not read:

Anything with Alice. Period. Not particularly into reading anything with Carlisle, Esme, Charlie or Seth (though there was one very specific instance of Carlisle/Edward that worked for me, and there's a Carlisle/Charlie I'm going to give a try for the hell of it). Edward/Emmett (too much like siblings), Emmett/Bella, Jasper/Rosalie (these two pairings gross me out the most because it really is like siblings, blech). 

That's all I can think of right now. I'm getting sleepy finally. I didn't really get into the minor characters too much. Probably because I haven't run across stories with them.

Hello!  I was reading some old fan fic recently and I was wondering if  writers still read reviews for stories that have been complete or even abandoned for awhile.  Is reviewing an old story worth doing?  Thanks!
