Everyone seems like they're in such a good and silly mood today.  Did ya'll smoke something funny growing in our forest, or is simply all the jacob eye candy getting to you?

I've got tomorrow off and started my long weekend (officially) at 3:00 (unofficially, I didn't actually get any work done today, so my long weekend started as soon as I woke up).

In the spirit of the new (hopefuly temporary) forest background, I am looking for a oneshot that was rec'd to me a while back but somehow did not make it to my list. I thought it was called The Thin Line, but the FFN search is getting me nowhere. It involves Bella second guessing or regretting choosing Edward.

Earlier in the week, Ranger Jandco asked everyone who from the Twilight Saga they'd take along if they were to be stranded on an island.

Then Ranger Jennyfly asked who from FanFiction everyone would want in the same predicament.

Now I'm curious.

If you were stranded on that island with three people you've met here in the "Twilight Community" in places like A Different Forest, who would you take?

To be honest, not many of the Campers here seem to like me.

But Ranger Emibella is always sweet, so I would take her. She's the kind of company I would want.

Next, I'd want someone who could help find a way off the island, so I'd choose John. He's smart and ingenious. Here's a picture of him I found in an older campfire:

And, since I didn't meet Edward or Jake here in the world of the Twilight fans, they're disqualified for me in this game. So I think I'll choose the NIGHT RANGER because I would feel safe with him/her around.

Okay, so thanks to those of you that told me to go read The Mirrors the last time I posted this question. I just finished it and was sooo glad I finally did (I had been hesitant).

Just started to reread Persuasion by Jane Austen and now I wonder if there's any fic that goes the same way.

Bella and Edward (it could actually be Bella/jasper and Bella/Jacob too, as long as its well written) meet, got engaged and then one of them ends it. Years later they meet again and the person who ended it regrets it and tries to win him/her back. You know the drill. They cannot get together again too early.

 OMG, I LOVE MY NEW ICON!!

*gulp* -- I am a hardcore ExB shipper, but there is this tiny part of me that is oh-so-curious to read a really good Jacob and Bella love story fanfic. I have to say I was mostly annoyed by Jacob in the books, but Taylor Lautner's performance made me like him in New Moon. Disclaimer: I am still ExB, I am still ExB, I am still ExB.....but, I'm itching for a little 'variety' in my fanfic reads.

Here's what I'd like:

1) Must be AH (all-human)
2) Can be a WIP or completed
3) Well-written (in the sense that the story moves along smoothly)
4) Main focus on Bella and Jacob (don't need a lot of extraneous Quil, Embry, Sam, etc... stuff)
5) Some smut between BxJ (not BDR-level, but something) ;)
6) Must make sense as to why she's not with Edward (ex: he never existed, he really did leave her and never returned, etc...)

*looks around furtively* -- Gah, hope my ExB friends don't see this request. I may be disowned. LOL
