me and my friend always argue over this. i think hot dogs are good, but i would

OK, I do not know really how to work this. My name is Gloria and I'm on line with my family right now. Sheila, one of my sisters, has asked me to post something to the "communities" that my sister, Lisa, participated in. I tried to do it at a Forest but I don't know how and this besides a few other places, this is one of the tabs that opens when I am on her laptop.

While our family is traveling during this time, we would like to thank everyone for all of the emails, phone calls, and messages that have been sent. My family was not aware that Lisa participated in fan fiction writing and we honestly did not realize that she had such a large community of friends in the virtual world. Lisa had asked me (Sheila) not to share her writing with the family because I think she was worried they would tease her. It was our little secret. Or so I thought. One of our sisters (Gloria) has been going through emails and message boards that Lisa had bookmarked on her laptop and she is putting together these messages so that she can print them for my mother and father to easily read.

Our hope is that you look at your own family and friends today and let them know you care.

We thank you for respecting our privacy at this time and know that you agree Lisa would probably write a huge entry of some sort, full of bad language, chastising me for not responding to each of you personally. That was her thing. Giving each person her full attention and respect.

We pray you do the same in your daily lives. The attention and respect thing, not the post of cursing.

 hi guys i just wanted to know if you knew what the title of this story im about to describe to you is named :

it starts with bella and edward meeting at a party bella is married edward then later on wins a bet of sorts and gets bella as a pretend wife for a weekend i believe, and jacob is okay with this when bella goes with edward up to his house she finds out that his mother is going to die because she is very sick so bella feels bad and stays a bit longer i think and some more info rosalie is a mom of two a girl who is super interested in bugs and a little boy oh and edward and bella were a couple in college but they broke up they still love each other, bella met jacob while she was at the vet or at the therapist if memory serves me correctly and yeah they are at a lakehouse and they went skinny dipping i think oh and jane and alec have a newborn baby leah is a slut and jacob broke edwards nose or foot while playing golf with him i think oooh and jacob is a doctor and edward is a professor i don remember what bella does but i do know she works with alice oh and bella was given a picture of rosalie and edward from there childhood when she was visiting esme edwards sick mother and emmet is in a band and yeah.

so if you know what story im taking about please be kind have mercy on me and tell me the title because for some odd reason it has been bothering me for three weeks and i am ready to pull my hair out well whats left of it after my last bout of frustration anyway so please ill be here no sleeping waiting for your help.

Hey Everyone...

Today is kinda strange, huh?  The day started off kinda silly and funny and I got NO work done (again).  Then things were kind of snarky and a wee bit negative, then we started sharing our opinions ON opinions....this was good.

Then we received the tragic news that our fandom lost two beautiful members today...

LISA, aka LASMKE and KE, aka 4LETTWRD

And everything changed.

Suddenly, we forgot the snark and the pettiness and quickly rallied together offering virtual hugs, thoughts, and prayers. 

We are reminded of the frailty of life and of how precious it is.  We are reminded that everything we tend to take for granted, can be taken away in an instant.

Tonight, when I tucked my children into bed, I gave them each an extra hug and an extra kiss because LIFE is too short to live a single moment without siezing it, without telling the ones you love how much they mean to you.

There's a lesson here.

Do not let a minute pass without telling the people you love how you feel.

Go. Right now, tell you husband, your boyfriend, your mother, your father.... that you love them.  Kiss your children, hug your dogs, send your BFF a text message.  And then come back here, and tell someone, anyone in the fandom how much they mean to you.

Okay so I'm not really good at remembering the names of fics or saving them, but there's this one fic that I really really can't remember what it's called and if someone could help me out...?

ok it starts off with Bella and I think she's just moved to Forks and its hot so she goes and sunbathes on the front yard in a bikini and a popsicle? She sees Edward and starts flirting with him..Charlie warns her about him and and tells her to stay away from him..
and um..Edward turns out to be a piano tutor to young kids... dammnit I can't really remember the rest..
It reminds me heaps of Resisting Edward and for a while I thought it was but I remember R.E starts off with Bella going shopping and meeting Rose and Alice.

When you go back and watch it again, are there things you'd like to change if you could?

 I would like to never have shot Rob and Kristen running through the forest and Kristen's just turned into a vampire. Because everybody always laughs and it makes me feel terrible. [Laughs] I would have shot it a different way so it wouldn't get that response. But otherwise, I'm very happy with things.

We have a lot of posts talking about how to find a beta but my questions for you are:

Who is your beta?

How did you find her/him?

My betas are xsecretxkeeperx and acciodanrad9. xsecretxkeeperx is one of my favorite authors and it took a lot of courage for me to ask her to read the first two chapters of my story. I completely fangirl'd when she offered to be my beta. acciodanrad9 is my RL BFF.

I want to hear them - awful lyrics, gag-worthy songs related to vampires.

 Can you disagree with someone without worrying about hurting their feelings?

Can you say what you feel, even if it is different from one or many and have it not come across as "mean"?

Is it possible to have a real debate without that debate getting personal, especially when you are talking about opinion?

I ask these questions because I REALLY want to know your thoughts. Often times we have campfires here on ADF where someone posts a fic that they are angry about or they post that someone looks good or bad and others come out and disagree. All too often these disagreements can seem personal, but in a way, a disagreement on your opinion IS personal. To you, is that okay?

I OFTEN don't agree with people's tastes in fanfiction. I like different ships, not loads of sex scenes and I hate wordy chapters. But that is my opinion. Should I be able to share it without the camper who posted getting upset?

I think Robert Pattinson can look awesome in some pictures but look terrible in others, often in direct opposition to others feelings. Is that okay?

If I didn't like Breaking Dawn or I didn't like the Remember Me Script or I don't ship Rob/Kristen, is that okay?

This is a campfire for your philosophy on voicing opinions. I have been thinking about this all day. I am not taking sides, but I would like some serious opinions. I have a feeling if we are honest, we will find that there is a broad spectrum of sensitivities, right or wrong. 

I understand these Cullens want to stay inconspicuous and things (despite the huge houses and fancy cars and clothes)  but--with all of their resources, like infinite money and knowledge, you'd think they'd be DOING something.  I don't know, philanthropy of some sort or curing diseases or creating a plan to end world hunger. 

Or, maybe not.  I'd probably just be ridiculous and flaunt crap, too.  Anyway, to the point, Campers.  If you had Cullen style resources, what would YOU be doing?

It doesn't have to be anything charitable--it could be, like, buying ocean front properties and diamonds.

We've heard snippets and rumours about Twilight being spun as a tv series (mostly in other countries and sans the current cast)

What I want to know is what is/has been your most favorite vampire series on tv?

Doesn't matter how old it  is either.

So let me know if I have missed something good!
