I have to admit, I don't know where its come from but I don't think I'm Team Edward anymore.  Sure I still think Robert Pattinson is groin-churningly gorgeous.  I guess I've just gotten tired with the perfection, and I've maybe started to think Edward wears a little much makeup.  Its true that even smoking hot nice guys eventually lose their appeal.

Now Charlie Bewley's Demetri - ho ho ho well hello there!  I think there should be more Demetri love spread about for sure!  He's flawed enough to keep me interested, at least until my next fad comes along!

So a while ago I was chatting with Littlestar300 on Twitter & the conversation turn to Peter Facinelli/Carlisle & I stated that I would LOVE to read some Carlisle fics, so the lovely lady sent me some wonderful fics. Who here has no idea what author's are talking about when they say AU, AH, OOC, etc.?

I mean, I can give you the basics, but I'm still a little lost on some of the definitions, and I've been writing fanfic for a year and a half now.

AU=Alternate Universe

AH=All Human

OOC=Out of Character

But what about crackfic? I seriously have no fucking idea what that means.

Shall we compile a list of all the definitions in the Twific world? Yes, I think we shall. :)

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you a little about someone I LOVE.

There is a camper whom I met here in the Forest.  For the last 7 months or so we have been talking/chatting/texting almost daily.  She has woven her way into my heart and has become one of the best friends I have ever had.  She's SMART, FUNNY, CREATIVE...and she INSPIRES and ENCOURAGES me more than I think she even realizes.

And today, Campers... she's feeling blue.

So I just wanted to take a minute to tell her how much I love her.

Ok, so I feel stupid asking this but I have no idea how to make an avi.  I don't have any fancy picture software, just a couple basic programs.  I tried messing around with a couple pictures but couldn't seem to get them to be the right size, etc.  Anyhow, if you know of any good tutorials on the web or can give me simple instructions I'd really appreciate it!  Thanks!

This local (Kansas city) IDIOT radio D.J. Blabbered on the air a few days ago about how plain and unattractive our darling KStew is. That's right ladies, the hobbit man pictured below doesn't find the incomparable Miss. Stewart's looks to be up to par.

That's terrible Natalie, you say, but what are we going to do about it???? SPAM HIS ASS! I say, spam him good with your sexiest KStew! Your hottest bitchfaces! Make this man sorry that my husband listens to his derelict radio station and reported his blasphemy to me!!!

Oh, did I mention that he is only the sidekick D.J. on the afternoon show, and that his "handle" is Slimfast.

AND that above stated blasphemy occurred during a discussion on how to get more female listeners, b/c they are failing in that portion of the demographic. (Duh, I can totally hear that level of ugly through the radio. *shudders*)

My dear Twife, adopted child, etc, Kake87 will be bravely getting aboard a train to cross the country to come from Ohio and visit me and my girls here in Idaho.  She is a professional lurker/occasional poster so I am lighting this fire for her with her permission.

She has a 4-hour layover in Chicago.  Is there anything she should see while she is there? (That won't get her lost or be unsafe obvs) 

Are there any campers that might want to go and help keep her company while she is between trains? 

She will be in Chicago on  Rob's birthday-May 13  How funny is that? (pm her for the time because we want to play safe in the forest...) 

Post or pm her with your recs!  

On another note..

Some of you know that I have been dealing with a bad shoulder the last few weeks and whined about PT. (I would now marry the therapist if he wasn't already-he can zap me with that shock machine any day.)

My MRI showed a small tear on the rotator cuff.  They did a cortisone shot... no dice. So my surgeon called me yesterday.  I am having surgery tomorrow~needless to say, I'm not happy about it and am a bit nervous.

After talking to my PT it boils down to the color of the sling I have on when I wake up.  If it's blue, that means they just 'cleaned things up'  (a repeat sub-acromial decompression) my shoulder and didn't find much damage. 

If it's black, that means they had to repair the rotator cuff and will be in for a much longer and painful recovery (months vs. weeks). 

And yes, this all comes down the week before finals!  (But,really, I'm ok there.  Heck, I plan to be back in class next Monday...)

So I come home to clear my answering machine and found i've missed a call-from the surgeon's assistant.  They found 'something' that was 'not a big deal' in my lab work and he wanted to talk to me about it today.  Of course I discovered this at 8p.m. A bit upsetting...after my initial freak out and panicked im's to Kake, I figure that if it was really something big, they'd have kept calling me until they reached me OR cancelled the surgery.

The point of my secondary rant (outside of venting of course) is to ask that you keep me in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
